Split will host a series of international music competitions for young musicians from around the world, organized as part of the Split International Music Competition.

The programme begins in September 2026 and continues in early 2027, featuring competitions for young opera singers, cellists, saxophonists, guitarists and pianists.

September 23–25, 2026 - CASTA DIVA SPALATO – INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION FOR YOUNG OPERA SINGERS

The second edition of the competition brings together emerging opera singers from around the world, offering them the opportunity to perform before an international jury and compete for valuable prizes.

January 19–22, 2027 - INTERNATIONAL CELLO COMPETITION

The first international cello competition focuses on artistic depth, expressive sound and musical individuality, giving young cellists the opportunity to present their talent before an international jury.

January 23–25, 2027 - INTERNATIONAL SAXOPHONE COMPETITION

The first edition brings together talented young saxophonists in a celebration of the instrument’s versatility, energy and expressive range.

January 26–28, 2027 - INTERNATIONAL GUITAR COMPETITION

The first international guitar competition highlights technique, artistry and musical expression, welcoming talented young guitarists to Split.

January 29–31, 2027 - INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION

The second edition of the international piano competition returns to Split, bringing together promising young pianists from around the world, with a focus on interpretation, virtuosity and artistic maturity.
