In 2020, the Ventula klapa joined the Sing (in) Splita organization and co-organized the first klapa gathering in Split, called Spli'ski Klaparel. The event grew out of the festival’s Traditional Song Evenings and demonstrated that Split, too, wants and can have its own klapa gathering.

Ventula was also last year’s winner of the Festival of Dalmatian Klapas in Omiš. The members of the klapa generously, enthusiastically and voluntarily take part in the extensive organization of this klapa evening, with the desire to bring klapas together in the city beneath Marjan, rather than only in neighboring towns.

This year’s Klaparel will, by now, traditionally mark the first event of the festival’s autumn program and will be held on September 19 at the Croatian Home Split.

In addition to Ventula, the following klapas will perform: Sagena, Filip Dević, Stivanja, Krunik, Dežgracija, Kampaneli and Armorin.
