Location: Kula Gallery (Ulica kralja Tomislava 10)

Dates: July 3 – September 5, 2026, opening: July 3 at 8:00 PM

The first presentation of Portuguese artist Leonor Antunes in Split features the site-specific installation The Homemaker and Her Domain II (Goes to Split). The exhibition explores the relationships between space, architecture, craftsmanship, and women's histories through sculptural forms made from natural materials such as rope, leather, cork, wood, and brass.

Leonor Antunes (Lisbon, 1972) lives and works in Berlin and is one of the leading contemporary European artists. Her practice draws on modern art, architecture, and design, often inspired by the work of overlooked women artists and craft traditions. In 2019, she represented Portugal at the Venice Biennale and has exhibited at major international institutions including SFMOMA in San Francisco, Whitechapel Gallery in London, the New Museum in New York, Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid, and MUDAM in Luxembourg.
