Plants in the city have their own communities, relationships, and small invisible worlds that we pass by every day.

As part of the Outdoor Art Lab program, Yellow Wasabi is leading the workshop Sociology of Plants in Public Space, where we explore the urban biodiversity of Split together.

During a walk through the city, we observe, record, and create—drawing, photographing, and capturing the sounds of the plants around us—discovering how they are connected, just like us.

After the walk, there will be a group discussion about plant communities, and the collected materials will become part of an art piece developing into an eco-acoustic soundscape and interactive projection.

The projection will be presented on March 28 at the Dom mladih, where movement through the space will activate sounds and visual elements inspired by the relationships among plants.
