10. DALMATIA FILM FESTIVAL

 

Location: Zlatna Vrata Cinematheque (Dioklecijanova 1)


Date: December 1st – 5th, 2025, with all screenings starting at 6:00 PM

 

 

 

The tenth edition of the Dalmatia Film Festival will take place in Split from December 1st to 5th at the Zlatna Vrata Cinematheque, presenting a rich and carefully curated selection of short films from the latest domestic and international productions.

 

The first four days of the festival are dedicated to competition screenings in the categories of short fiction, documentary, animated, and experimental films. A total of 70 films will be showcased, with daily screenings starting at 6:00 PM. On the festival’s closing day, Friday, December 5th, at 2:30 PM, a screenwriting workshop will be held, led by Diego Fandos — Spanish screenwriter, director, and longtime professor at the Prague Film School.

 

This year’s edition places a special spotlight on student filmmaking. On December 1st, audiences will have the opportunity to watch a curated selection of student films produced at film schools and academies worldwide, while the entire program on December 4th will be devoted to Croatian student films.

 

All screenings and the workshop are free to attend.
