25TH ANNIVERSARY OF OLUJA: CELEBRATING VICTORY AND HOMELAND THANKSGIVING DAY AND DAY OF CROATIAN VETERANS

Laying wreaths at the Lovrinac City Cemetery and the Park of Croatian Veterans and lowering the 22-meter tricolor from the City Hall building on Tuesday, August 4, begins the program to mark Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and Croatian Veterans Day and the 25th anniversary of  Oluja action organized by the City of Split and Coordination of Split Veterans' Associations.

 
The program, which will take place following the applicable anti-epidemiological measures, will continue with the Thanksgiving Mass in the Church of Our Lady of Health at 7 pm.
It is followed by a parade of veterans' associations with flags from Gaja Bulat Square, across Marmontova Street and Riva to the monument of the first Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, accompanied by the band from Žrnovnica-HGD Stjepan Radić.
 
The celebration of Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and Croatian Veterans Day will end with a big fireworks display on the Riva at 9.30 pm.
