EXHIBITION BY ZLATKO KOZINA: "CONTEMPORARY ART 38"
Location: SALON GALIĆ (Marmontova 3)
Time: February 15 - March 4, 2024
The Croatian Association of Visual Artists - Split (HULU-Split) is organizing the exhibition "Contemporary Art 38" by Zlatko Kozina.
In his work, Zlatko Kozina problematizes the paradoxes of theoretical and practical artistic implications of the world of art in the comprehensive temporal continuity of human history and art history.
Admission is free, and the exhibition can be viewed until March 4, 2024. The project curator is Dario Vuger.
"Contemporary Art 38 does not represent a theme or the ordinal number of a specific exhibition project, despite Kozina presenting his Contemporary Art in a cacophonic aesthetic composition already in 2022 in Osijek, where all elements of his distinctive visual expression came to the fore. They must be interpreted situationally, as part of an endeavor that is both larger and smaller than individual work. In that sense, the title suggests that by entering the gallery, we agree to embark on some kind of journey or at least movement through a space designed for transit on an imaginary line that - without a specific schedule - goes in the direction of one of the many contemporary arts."
From the foreword, Dario Vuger
