Location: Vasko Lipovac University Gallery (Ruđera Boškovića Street 31, 21000 Split)
The solo exhibition Chord by the academic sculptor Ivan Klapež opens on Monday, June 14, 2021, at 8 pm at the Vasko Lipovac University Gallery and will be open to all visitors until July 1, 2021.
The exhibition is organized on the occasion of the Day of the University of Split and represents a valuable contribution to the exhibition program of the Vasko Lipovac Gallery.
The exhibition will be presented by the curator, art historian Dalibor Prančević, and will be officially opened by the rector of the University of Split, Mr. Dragan Ljutić.
A valuable contribution to this cultural event is the text in the catalog of Dr. Philip Ward-Jackson, a world-renowned art historian.
With this exhibition, the University of Split presents a Croatian artist who has achieved his career outside the borders of Croatia, behind which are numerous solo and group exhibitions, and his works are in many domestic and foreign collections and museums. The exhibition set up at the University Gallery is one of the first major solo exhibitions in the homeland.
