The City of Split celebrates its Day and the feast of its patron saint, St. Domnius, with over 1000 religious, cultural, entertainment, and sports events, concentrated between May 1st and 7th, with several events before and after that period. The program begins on April 28th with a novena in honor of St. Domnius at the cathedral, concluding on May 11th with the International Rowing Regatta "St. Duje".

This year’s celebration of St. Domnius Day and Split City Day brings a rich program for all generations – over 100 cultural, sports, entertainment, and religious events!

 

What can you expect?

Multi-day celebration from April 28 to May 10

Grand solemn Mass and procession on May 7 at the Riva (led by Mons. Ranko Vidović)

Jelena Rozga concert on May 7

Performances by Nina Badrić, Goran Karan, Giuliano, Amira Medunjanin, Jasna Zlokić, and more

Traditional event "Neka Split sa dicom piva" (Let Split sing with children)

Marjan Day celebration on May 10 at multiple locations

More than 20 activities for children throughout the city – workshops, tombola, open-air cinema

 

The program organized by the Tourist Board of the City (concerts at Narodni trg, the children’s program "Let Split Sing with the Kids," and the Feast of the Holy Cross) takes place from May 1 to 6 and is available in .pdf form.
