EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The sound carrier "Transformations" brings original Croatian chants performed by Camerata Vocale Split in a new guise!
ETHNO-ELECTRO CONCERT WITH MODERN DANCE BY THE BALLET MEMBERS OF THE CROATIAN NATIONAL THEATER, which will present the CD, will be held in the ceremonial hall of the Hrvatski dom Split, on November 26, 2022, starting at 8 p.m.
The event is the part of the 5th International Song Festival SING (in) SPLIT.
As many as 17 countries are involved in the project: Spain, Venezuela, the United Kingdom, Belarus, England, Italy, Hungary, Japan, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Canada, Turkey, the USA, and Croatia.
The selected tunes are from nine Croatian geographical areas: Međimurje, City of Zagreb, Jastrebarsko, Podravina, Slavonija, Lika, Istria, City of Split, and Dalmatia, and include dances, lullabies, Međimurje popjevka, Slavonic dances, so-called Istrian scales, Zagreb songs, and Dalmatian serenades. Composers from all over the world composed electronic music based on sound recordings from the Croatian tradition. The publisher of the sound carrier is Croatia Records.
