John Bock is a very important contemporary German artist with a permanent residence in Berlin. He was presented at Documenta XI, Kassel (2002), and at the 48th, 51st, and 55th Venice Biennale. He uses performance, performative lectures, theater experience in his artistic practice, video and video documentation, i.e. strategies of participatory art and others.
