Prokultura – Opservatorij kulturnih politika i njezino kulturno kreativno središte u Splitu Kuća jezika i kulture Peristil powered by OTP ovom prigodom najavljuje izložbu mlade akademske slikarice Natalije Borčić Peuc. Za razliku od prvog gostovanja kada smo umjetnicu predstavili kao vrsnu ilustratoricu, ovaj put Natalia dolazi cjelovita: ona i njezin otok Vis, predstavljeni u velikim formatima, prikazujući sve najvažnije plaže otoka: Zoglov, Duboka, Srebarna, Smokova, Grandovac, Bili bok, Stiniva, Pritišćina, Stončica i Kamenice. 

O izložbi sama umjetnica kaže: „Ovim slikama portretiram svoj zavičaj, otok Vis, mjesto na kojem sam odrasla i koji me je uvelike odredio. Ono po čemu je ovaj ciklus slika drukčiji od mojih prijašnjih je da pejzaže slikam novim načinom, svojevrsnim dripping-om i prolijevanjem boja, prskanjem bojom u različitim smjerovima i pod različitim kutovima, eksperimentirajući također, kroz proces izvedbe, s različitim tehnikama. Ciklus slika nosi naziv po najpoznatijoj i geografski najspecifičnijoj plaži Stinivi.“

Stiniva - Natalija Borčić Peuc

Prokultura - Observatory of cultural policies and its cultural and creative center in Split - House of Language and Culture Peristil powered by OTP - announces the exhibition of the young academic painter Natalija Borčić Peuc. Unlike the first guest appearance, when we presented the artist as an excellent illustrator, this time Natalia comes complete: she and her island of Vis, presented in large formats, showing all the most important beaches of the island: Zoglov, Duboka, Srebarna, Smokova, Grandovac, Bili bok, Stiniva, Pritišćina, Stončica, and Kamenice.

About the exhibition, the artist herself says: "With these paintings, I portray my homeland, the island of Vis, the place where I grew up and which largely defined me. What makes this cycle of paintings different from my previous ones is that I paint landscapes in a new way, a kind of dripping and spilling of colors, spraying paint in different directions and at different angles, also experimenting, through the performance process, with different techniques. The cycle of paintings takes name after the most famous and geographically specific beach, Stiniva."
