In memoriam Maja Žarković (1966 – 2021)

Three prominent musical artists, mezzo-soprano Renata Pokupić, clarinetist Marija Pavlović, and pianist Julia Gubaidulina, gathered in an unusual chamber ensemble in an evening dedicated to the untimely deceased Split cultural worker and musician Maja Žarković (1966 - 2021). In a dreamy atmosphere of love and longing moods, they will perform works by L. Spohr, W. A. Mozart, G. Meyerbeer, R. Schumann, and F. Schubert, as well as a solo song by Dora Pejačević (1885 – 1923), in the year in which marks the 100th anniversary of the death of the prominent Croatian composer.
