Location: Gallery School (Fausta Vrančića 15, 21000 Split)

Opening: Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 7:00 p.m.

Božo Balov, a Split artist of the younger generation, brings scenes from Split's everyday life presented in his unique form, which he developed by exploring a number of techniques and media, from traditional ones such as painting and graphics, through 3D computer graphics, digital painting, and animation, to design in virtual and augmented reality.

Classic scenes with locals having fun on the "wall" in front of a small-town store, fans going to an away game, and random passers-by in the newer neighborhoods of Split, are just some of the scenes that will be on view as projections on the walls of the gallery, and also in the virtual world, using VR glasses. It will present classic video loops and more complex scenographies. This artist, who works from Split's Prime Render Studio, has worked on many notable projects and is currently working on the production of an animated film.

The exhibition is open until February 28, 2023.
