The Krpan Violin Duo has established itself as a "well-coordinated team that continuously discovers interesting, often forgotten works composed for two violins and encourages the creation of new ones."

Father and son, Anđelko and Martin Krpan, have released three joint albums to date, featuring compositions by Božidar Širola, Marijan Kichl, Tomislav Uhlik, Josip Štolcer Slavenski, Mladen Pozajić, Nenad Firšt, Ivan Jarnović, and others. One of the most esteemed Croatian violinists, Anđelko Krpan, performs not only as a soloist but also as the first violinist of the Sebastian String Quartet, of which he is a founding member. He is a professor of violin at the Music Academy in Zagreb and has received numerous awards and recognitions.

Martin Krpan is the first violinist of the Zagreb Quartet. He has performed as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of Croatian Radiotelevision, Zagreb Soloists, String Orchestra of the Croatian Youth Music, and the Sebastian String Quartet. In 2016, he was the concertmaster of the international orchestra Euphony. He has received a series of awards at Croatian and international competitions.
