Exhibition organizers: State Archives in Split and the City of Split

On the plateau of Gripe Fortress, in front of the entrance to the State Archives in Split, on Tuesday, October 10th, at 11 AM, an exhibition will be opened on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Miljenko Smoje, titled "Velo Misto, A Small World."  (Big town, small world).

The exhibition is dedicated to the series "Velo Misto" and presents the main contributors to the creation of the series in various thematic sections; in addition to Smoje, we introduce director Joakim Marušić, scenographer Dušan Jeričević, cover artist Ljubo Ivančić, and a whole constellation of actors.

The chronicle of Split is also the chronicle of Hajduk, so there will be discussions about the club's origins. In addition to photographs from the series' filming, scenic design sketches, drawings, Frane Matošić's old football boots, sheet music excerpts from Tijardović's operetta "Kraljica lopte" (The Queen of the Ball), we also present a model of the Monumental Fountain, a backdrop for many scenes in the series.
