ADVENT RIDE BY E-BUS IN MARJAN FOREST PARK

The Public Institution for the Management of the Marjan Forest Park brings news related to Advent and the offer of rides in the Marjan Forest Park.

The departure stop of the Marjan Forest Park electric bus is located near the Marjan Forest Park Visitor Center, at the address Trumbićeva obala 18, and the e-bus runs on the usual route.

In addition to the usual e-bus tours, during Advent, the Public Institution for the Management of the Marjan Forest Park also offers visits to the Church of St. Jere and the Hermitage, as well as rides on Saturdays, which will be reported in more detail on https://www.facebook.com/marjanparksuma/.

ADVENT AT ST. JERE

Every Friday during this Advent, in addition to the regular rides, the Public Institution for the Management of Park-Forest Marjan and the Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments, in cooperation with the Brotherhood of the Holy Cross, invite you to visit the small church of St. Jere on Marjan and the hermitage with free transportation by e-bus and professional guidance.

From 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. this Friday, December 2, 2022, and then on the following Fridays, December 9 & 16, 2022, the small church and the hermit's apartment will be opened and presented with expert guidance. The expected duration of the visit is 90 minutes.

Those interested are offered transportation by mini e-bus of the Marjan Forest Park, departing from the Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments at noon (Gunjačina 1, 21000 Split).

ADVENT STORYTELLING IN THE CHILDREN'S TOWN ON MARJAN

Come to Marjan with your loved ones: friends, moms, dads, grandparents, brothers and sisters, and all lovers of beautiful stories, and enjoy the Advent Storytelling.

During Advent, escape from the pre-holiday crowds and come to Marjan in Dječji grad (Children's town).

In Children's town this Sunday, December 11, 2022, at 11 a.m. (the event will be postponed in case of a bad weather), in the forest atmosphere, you will be welcomed by a "modern fairy" who will weave the most beautiful fairy tales and Christmas stories from around the world.

Meet the storyteller Jasmina Žiljak Ilinčić and listen to her words and stories, enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest, and relax under the pines. Travel through fairy tales for young and old, dream in the woods with a word artist, and revive the noble spirit of Christmas!

This event will be accompanied by e-bus rides to make it easier for citizens to get to Marjan Forest Park - two rides before the show itself at 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. Departure is in front of the Visitor Centre of Marjan Forest Park.
