The exhibition "(DO NOT) BELIEVE THE NARRATOR - The Case of Krvavica" by the Association for Contemporary Art Practices Slobodne veze.
The circular building of the former Military Children's Sanatorium is the starting point of the exhibition. Military Children's Sanatorium is a devastating architectural masterpiece built in the mid-1960s by Rikard Marasović. It is an exhibition about the loss of social (and the transformation of personal) memory due to radical social change and the consequences of that process. Project's authors see the fate of Marasović's cult building as a symptom, intertwining archival materials, original documents, records, and photographs with the fictional narratives of the experimental film of the art duo Doplgenger.
The exhibition is part of the activities within the Motel Trogir project, which in 2021 is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia and the Kultura Nova Foundation.
