EXHIBITION PROGRAMME IN SALON GALIĆ

EXHIBITION PROGRAMME IN SALON GALIĆ

Croatian Association of Visual Artists (HULU- Split) is a professional association of artists, established in 1945.  HULU's exhibition programme has been building the cultural scene in the city of Split for the past 70 years.

The programme is taking place in the central exhibition spaces in Split protected as cultural heritage - Salon Galić (national heritage) and Diocletian's Substructures (UNESCO world heritage).

Salon Galić, being the oldest gallery in Split, was proclaimed as a cultural good by the Ministry of Culture.

Salon Galić is centrally located in Marmont Street and it continually hosts a calendar of exhibitions, which change every two- three weeks. Salon Galić is  the perfect place to check out the works of local and international contemporary artists that specialize in a variety of mediums ( performance, video art, installations, sculptures, paintings...)

During 2019 sixteen exhibitions will take place in Salon Galić and the exhibition programme will host more than 40 artists and curators  including 10 international artists and curators.

There is no charge for visiting the exhibitions organized by the Croatian Association of Visual Artists  and everyone visiting the exhibitions can get 40% off on return train tickets to and from Split.
