• 1.5 - 2 hour sightseeing tour of Split’s city center and Poljud stadium
• Experience Split through the perspective of Hajduk fans
• Explore how city attractions like Riva, Pjaca, Peristil, Stari Plac or Poljud stadium are linked with Hajduk and its history
Explore the antique centre of Split through a story about one of the symbols of the town – Hajduk Split Football Club. This walking tour connects history and architecture of Split with emotion and passion for Hajduk which is much more than just a football club. In order for you to realize the extent to which Split “breathes” for Hajduk we have made it possible for you to explore a local hangout place, refreshment included, where the local supporters hang out, and we have also organized a visit to one of the architectural wonders of Croatia - Poljud stadium. By taking this tour, you help the supporters succeed in their struggle since the money earned by the tours will be used to buy off the shares of the club so that the supporters could become one of the owners.
What to Expect
The first thing you can be positive about is that after this tour you will become one of the Rebels.
You will meet your guide at Matejuška, a local hangout place, at 5:00 p.m. (except on Hajduk home fixtures when the meeting time is 8:30 a.m.).
Then, you will begin the walk to the town centre and during a two-hour tour you will be able to experience the connection between Split and Hajduk as the symbol of the town.
The first stop is Riva, the promenade, where you will hear about the historical importance of the spot for each and every supporter of Hajduk and citizen of Split. Then, you will take a stroll through the cellars of the Diocletian’s Palace to Peristyle, one of the main town squares.
After that you will head for Pjaca, the square where the city hall is located and the place where in 1950 the oldest supporters’ group was founded.
Walking down Marmontova street, the beating heart of the old town, you will reach Stari Plac (“Old Place”), the first stadium. It is an epic place for each and every supporter of Hajduk and citizen of Split and, also, it was the home of Hajduk for 70 years. Next stop in our tour is another local hangout place where the supporters gather and mingle before home matches. There we will take a short rest with refreshment.
Finally, after the stadium tour, you will have a half an hour to visit the Fan shop and Membership department.
