International documentary film festival about archaeology, cultural and historical heritage, monument protection and anthropology
This year, Split will host the 5th International Archaeology Film Festival organized by the Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments which will take place November 7 – 9, 2018.
The Festival contributes to the valorization of cultural heritage and archaeological research. It is a platform for cooperation and exchange of ideas between museum professionals (archaeologists, art historians and historians) on one side, and film professionals on the other, all with the aim of improving the quality of archaeology/museum film production.
With unlimited duration, films produced after January 1, 2012 are eligible. This biennial festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia, Croatian Audio-visual Center (HAVC), City of Split, Tourist Board of Split and the Split-Dalmatia County and will take place in the Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments.
