Enjoy Ultra Europe in Safety

Ultra Europe 2017 is just around the corner, there is only one day left till the biggest music event in Croatia, which attracts tens of thousands electronic music and partying fans. Ultra Europe is pure joy, and I'm certain that those three days will be unforgettable for everyone who arrives to Poljud Stadium. However, to make that experience full, the one should take care of safety, but also about the community he or she arrived to. Here are some simple recommendations by organizers you need to know before arriving to Poljud and Ultra Europe.

In the last few years people in Split have proven themselves as amazing hosts, they are among those responsible for turning Split into important music destination, with city's images spreading around the Globe. There are more than 2,000 people involved in this project, and city services will be available 24 hours a day. But for full experience there are some other conditions, too. In our world, safety is usually number one.

Here are some simple rules. To make it more simple and faster to enter the stadium, and to make visitors safer, Ultra Europe people suggest not to bring any bags, except those around waist and clutch bags. If needed, bag must be transparent, and not bigger than 33x43 centimetres. All professional still and video cameras are banned except for accredited photographers, but GoPro and similar action cameras are allowed. List of banned items also includes horns, any flammable items, sprays, alcohol beverages, food, laser pointers, chains, water guns, face masks, and any kind of illegal substances. All visitors must have valid pictured ID, and all visitors will be subjected to firm controls at all entrances.

Another issue is respecting local customs and rules. Having thousands partygoers in town can be disturbing for those not participating, and city authorities issued a statement. Here it is, in full.

"Welcome to Split! We will do our best to make your vacation in Split memorable and pleasant. We also ask you to respect city's rules remain in good memory of our citizens. According to city's decision, it's not allowed to walk around the city centre without clothes, partly dressed or wearing bathing suites. Those who don't comply with these will be fined 500 kuna at the spot, or 1,000 kuna after misdemeanour procedure. There are many ways to spend your money in Split than to pay fines. We wish you a pleasant stay in Split."

By the way, similar and even more strict rules were brought recently also in Hvar, home of Ultra Europe's closing party. Read about it here.
