Prokultura Split invites you to the Split opening of this year's event, Days of French Language and Culture, to all those who share the joy of discovering this beautiful language with them over the years.

Join them on Tuesday, November 28, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. in Prokultura - House of Language and Culture Peristil powered by OTP bank, where they will toast their long-term association with the sounds of a chanson performed by the young winner of the Evening of Chanson, Gabriela Braičić, accompanied by Danira Ipavec on the harmonica, and photographs by Ivo Pervan dedicated to Paris.

A pleasant gathering with sparkling wine and words of greetings from the hosts, Prokultura, and partners in the organization - Alliance Française Split, City Library Marko Marulić Split, Children's Cultural Center for English and French BRAVO - will be joined with their greetings by representatives of the French Embassy in Croatia, attachés for culture and language and representative of the President of the Republic of Croatia in the International Organization of Francophonie.

After the welcoming words of the guests and hosts, there will be a conversation with the reading of excerpts and the presentation of the book by Vanda Mikšić and Mirna Sindičić Sabljo, professor at the University of Zadar, "Then it's me." A selection from contemporary francophone short prose".

Along with the book authors published, young translators Anette Klarić and Tomislav Denegri also participate in the program.
