The young Omiš pianist Lovre Marušić, winner of some of the most prestigious awards on the international piano scene, will perform as laureates of the annual "Ivo Vuljević" Award of the Croatian Musical Youth (2021), which the national organization awards to the best young Croatian musician. After a successful recital last season, Marušić is performing this time in Haydn's Concerto for piano and orchestra in D major, Hob. XVIII:11, with the Split Virtuosos Chamber Orchestra under the direction of maestro Wladimir Kossjanenko. This concert will mark the second anniversary of the activities of the Concert Hall Hrvatski dom Split, which in that short period achieved fruitful musical cooperation with Split virtuosos and hosted great young (local) musicians who are persistently on the way to great artistic careers. We can only wish that the concert of the Best Young Croatian Musician and Friend of the Split Concert Hall becomes a traditional annual event in the new Split temple of culture!
