The Split Virtuosos Chamber Orchestra will perform at the second concert as part of the Dalmatian Cycle under the leadership of conductor and violist Wladimir Kossjanenko. This year orchestra celebrates its 10th anniversary, and the Split audience will have the opportunity to hear a varied and rich program, the backbone of which is the works of two contemporaries from the 20th century: String Quartet no. 8 in C minor, Op. 110, by the Russian composer Dmitri Dmitriyevich Shostakovich, and the suite for strings Pintarichian by Boris Papandopulo, one of the greatest Croatian composers.
